Kara Weiner has joined  FLEXcon as the new chief operations officer in North America. 

Weiner will bring a wealth of knowledge in manufacturing, engineering, quality, plant management, supply chain, logistics, warehousing, and operations analysis, according to FLEXcon North America president Lavon Winkler.

“Kara is an experienced change leader who will work collaboratively with managers and team members to improve operational efficiency,” Winkler says.  “She will also focus on employee development with a team-oriented mindset to facilitate problem-solving and improvements across all of FLEXcon manufacturing, resulting in improved outcomes for our customers.”

Weiner most recently served as vice president of operations at Stratasys, where she led North American operations and transformed manufacturing strategy to deliver improvements in production performance without sacrificing quality. Previously, Weiner served as a Lean Six Sigma manager for 3M Company, where she realized significant resource efficiency gains.

“I look forward to working with FLEXcon’s executive team, managers and team members throughout the organization to align structure and processes with the company’s strategic goals,” Weiner explains. “Through a collaborative approach to problem-solving and improvement, we will drive technical change within the organization which will, in turn, improve lead times and ensure the highest quality for our customers.”
